George English’s Position on Nuclear Weapons

George English, candidate for the Democratic nominee in Maryland’s 6^th congressional district, participated in the May 3, 2018 Candidates’ Forum hosted by various Democratic Clubs. Paul Bessel moderated the forum. English responded to this question:

What is your position on nuclear weapons? Would you support 1) a bill that it is the policy of the United States to not use nuclear weapons first, 2) a bill that would end the sole, unchecked authority of any president to launch a nuclear attack, and 3) would you seek to roll back to 1.7 trillion dollars that is currently being used to build up our nuclear weapons? 

The forum included Andrew Duck, George English, Dr.Nadia Hashimi, Chris Hearsey, Roger Manno, Aruna Miller, and David Trone. Chris Graves did not attend the forum.
