Regina Oldak (D) Identifies Top Infrastructure Projects for White Flint, Pike District Area
Regina Oldak, Democratic candidate for Montgomery County Council in District 1, participated in the April 12, 2018 Candidates’ Forum hosted by Friends of White Flint. Amy Ginsburg moderated the forum. Oldak responded to this question:
“There are many infrastructure projects discussed in the two White Flint sector plans, including Bus Rapid Transit, broad sidewalks, the transformation of Rockville Pike into a grand boulevard, bike lanes, a second Metro entrance, and a well-connected grid of new roads. Candidates, what are your top three infrastructure projects for the White Flint area? How would you fund and implement those projects?”
Oldak continued by responding to the following question:
“Do you think forward funding of the White Flint special tax district is a good idea?”
The candidates participating in this forum included Bill Cook, Pete Fosselman, Andrew Friedson, Ana Sol Gutierrez, Jim McGee, Regina “Reggie” Oldak, and Meredith Wellington. Dalbin Osorio was unable to attend forum due to illness.
