Mary Ellen Icaza Honored with EPIC Award for Education

Mary Ellen Icaza has worked in urban libraries for more than 15 years.  She currently serves as the Assistant Director for Outreach and Programs for Montgomery County Public Libraries where she oversees all programming, community outreach and special events.

Her dedication to MCPL is why she was honored with the EPIC Award for Education during Montgomery Community’s Second Annual EPIC Awards at The Fillmore in Silver Spring on April 25. Gaithersburg Mayor Jud Ashman presented the award.
