Sector Plan Aims to Alleviate Congestion Along Georgia Avenue

Montgomery County’s Planning Department is working with the Maryland State Highway Administration to create alternative modes of transportation along Georgia Avenue.

The Forest Glen Montgomery Hills Sector Plan, launched back in 2017, aims to alleviate congestion along the corridor while making the road more attractive to pedestrians and cyclists in the Montgomery Hills and Forest Glen neighborhood between 16th Street and North Medical Drive.
