Colesville Road, Beltway, Wisconsin Avenue Lane Closures in Montgomery County

Over the next week, Maryland State Highway Administration will close lanes on multiple roads in Montgomery County, including Colesville Road, two sections of the Beltway and Wisconsin Avenue.

Colesville Road between the Beltway and Georgia Avenue is scheduled for single and double lane closures from Feb. 25-March 2 from 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. each night and from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. during the day. A WSSC water line is being replaced.

The inner and outer loop of the Beltway between Georgia Avenue and Connecticut Avenue is scheduled for single lane closures from Feb. 25 – March 2 each night from 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. This work is part of the project to repair the Seminary Road bridge over the Beltway.

Southbound lanes of Wisconsin Avenue between Waverly Street and Willow Lane are scheduled for closures from Feb. 25 – March 2 from 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. and from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The inner loop of the Beltway ramp to southbound New Hampshire Avenue is scheduled to close each night from Feb. 25 – March 2, 10 p.m. – 5 a.m. Drivers should use the detour route as noted by road signs.
