November 1: Youth Winter Basketball Leagues

Club Friday is a membership program filled with fun activities such as games, sports, movies, dancing, arts and crafts, theme nights, raffles and special activities that every child will enjoy. 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Join award-winning photographer Jim Auerbach for a pictorial description of his recent trip to India. He will share stories about his trip and the techniques he used to take his pictures.
This travelogue presentation will take you through the vibrant culture, religion, exquisite architecture, valued customs and tradition of several Indian states. From Mumbai (Bombay) on the west coast, to Karela in the south, Kolkata on the east coast, and the Golden Triangle of Delhi, Jaipur and Agra in the north, we will explore India’s cultural diversity, rituals, beliefs, and lifestyle. With a significant rural, traditional, and agrarian population, India now is also a major industrial power experiencing rapid urban growth and rural-urban migration. It is a nation undergoing significant political, economic, and social change, while at the same time struggling to maintain many of its traditions and customs. Registration for our winter Rising Star youth basketball leagues is underway. For boys and girls in grades 5-8, this highly competitive program plays on weekends at neighborhood gyms throughout the county.

November 17: A Healthy Back with Adventist HealthCare Rehabilitation
