Ficker to Address Montgomery Republicans
The Montgomery County GOP for District 17 meets at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14, at the MCGOP headquarters, 15833 Crabbs Branch Way, Rockville. Guest speaker is Robin Ficker, Republican candidate for county executive.
Dr. Jill Biden will speak to the Women’s Democratic Club of Montgomery County at the Bethesda Marriott, 5151 Pooks Hill Road. The sold-out event starts with a reception at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 14.

Education advocate Laurie Halverson, who served on the Maryland State Board of Education, will discuss growing concerns about the Montgomery County Public Schools.
