Update: Missing 14-Year-Old Found Safe, Police Say

Update, Sept. 14: Kevin Michael Franklin has been located safe and unharmed, police say.

Original post: Montgomery County police are asking the public’s help in finding a missing Rockville juvenile.

Kevin Michael Franklin, 14, of the 1700 block of Pitt Place, was last seen by family members when he left his home on foot at about 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 11.

Franklin is described as white, 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighing 140 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. Franklin was last seen wearing a blue zip-up hoodie, green long sleeve shirt, blue and white Adidas track pants and white tennis shoes.

Police and family are concerned for the teen’s welfare.
