1. Citizenship: Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett will announce a summer program that will help eligible county residents to become U.S. citizens. The event is at 10:30 a.m. at Veterans Plaza in Silver Spring.

3. Family caregivers: A family caregiver support group meets at 3 p.m. in Multipurpose Room A at the Village at Rockville. 4. Talented folks: Montgomery Recreation has announced the winners of “MoCo’s Got Talent.” See the winners here.

Fighting malaria: The National Museum of Health and Medicine presents “The Malaria Project: America’s Secret Mission to Combat Malaria During World War II” at 6 p.m. Malaria devastated American troops in the early years of World War II, and the U.S. government mounted an all-out hunt to find a cure. Public health journalist Karen Masterson will share her experiences learning about the incredible history behind malaria vaccine research during the 20th century.
