EPIC Awards Ceremony Set for June 8 at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, Tickets on Sale Now

Montgomery Community Media proudly presents the first, annual EPIC Awards, given for “Excellence in Programming and Innovative Content.”

The elegant affair will be held at The Fillmore in Silver Spring on June 8th.

Awardees will be honored for excellence in creating content specifically for our local community on all platforms, for teaching and sharing the arts in our region, for lifetime achievement and more.

Journalist and political analyst Juan Williams, NBC4’s Jim Vance, NBC4’s Barbara Harrison, Gaithersburg Mayor Jud Ashman, and iconic local broadcast anchor Maureen Bunyan are some of this year’s awardees.

This red carpet evening includes great food, drinks and entertainment. The evening kicks off with a VIP reception at 5:30 p.m., with doors opening to general ticket holders at 6:30 p.m. Dinner and the awards ceremony begins at 7 p.m.

The mission of the EPIC Awards is to strengthen the community of multimedia content creators by inspiring, promoting and recognizing excellence and innovation.
