Pedestrian Passageway Meeting Set for April 10

Pedestrian safety is a top concern of local leaders. In this video, Tom Pogue, community relations manager for the county’s division of transportation, tells residents how they can participate in the decision-making process regarding a pedestrian passageway (a tunnel or a bridge) to be located at Georgia Avenue and Forest Glen Road. The Division of Transportation Engineering will be hosting a Public Meeting to solicit community comment on the Forest Glen Passageway Feasibility Study. The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 10 from 7:00-9:00 p.m at Sligo Middle School in the cafeteria, 1401 Dennis Avenue, in Silver Spring.
