National Weather Service Issues Winter Storm Watch for Montgomery County
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for Montgomery County, effective from Monday evening thru Tuesday afternoon.
According to the weather advisory, there is a potential for five or more inches of snow within 12 hours. Some places may see significantly higher amounts of accumulation.
A winter storm watch means there is a potential for significant snow, sleet, or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
What that means is that the heavy snow may make roads impassable and there may be power outages because of the weight of that snow on tree limbs and power lines.
