3. Peerless Rockville celebrates the fight for educational equality in Rockville. February 2017 marks the 150th anniversary of a petition from 20 Rockville men pledging to fund a school and teacher to educate black children in 1867. The event is 7 p.m. at the Rockville Memorial Library.

4. Real Food for Kids Montgomery: Musical Gala & Auction will be 7:30 p.m. at the Jane E. Lawton Recreation Center, Chevy Chase. The organization is a grassroots, parent and student advocacy group working for whole, real, local, sustainable and nutrient-rich foods in the Montgomery County Public School System.

5. Bruce in The USA Tribute Show is 8 p.m. at the Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club.
