Takoma Park Residents Invited to Voice Concerns on Possible Pool Closing

In an effort to address the growing student population in the County, Montgomery County Public School officials are discussing way to evaluate space needs and options.

Piney Branch Elementary School (PBES) will be the subject of a feasibility study and one option on the table is to close the pool at PBES to make room for additional classroom space, according to a news release.

Takoma Park City officials are encouraging residents to participate in upcoming opportunities for in-person public engagement to voice any concerns or questions.

Meetings will be held at the Piney Branch Elementary School Media Center.
