County Executive Leggett: “Make No Mistake About It, There is Fear” (VIDEO)
Montgomery County Council members and County Executive Ike Leggett are addressing community concerns about safety and possible discrimination, harassment and hate crimes.
On Tuesday, the elected leaders held a news conference and passed a resolution, reaffirming the county’s tradition of respect for all residents.
“Make no mistake about it, there is fear, and there is a need for our community to act,” said County Executive Ike Leggett, who promises that Montgomery County will be a welcoming community.
