‘Autumn Glory’ Art Exhibit in Gaithersburg Celebrates Fall (PHOTOS)

Gaithersburg’s Arts on the Green presents an exhibit at the Arts Barn and the Kentlands Mansion Galleries celebrating the fall season. This extensive multimedia exhibit, “Autumn Glory,” features a wide range of mediums and styles from respresentational to abstract.  The exhibit runs through October 31 at the Arts Barn and November 11 at Kentlands Mansion.

The public is invited to meet the artists during a free Artists Reception on Thursday, October 6 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Both galleries will be open for viewing during Oktoberfest at the Kentlands on Sunday, October 9 from noon to 5 p.m.

“Participating artists were invited to submit images of artwork that they believed depicted the beauty and transformation that is characteristic of the autumnal change of seasons,” says Gallery Coordinator Jaree Donnelly. “Images were reviewed by a jury panel of artists and the artwork selected for exhibition is quite wonderful and surprisingly diverse.”
