Free Immunization Clinics Set for August and September (VIDEO)
Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) officials are reminding parents of important Tdap and MCV4 immunization requirements for seventh graders.
Beginning later this week, Montgomery County Health and Human Services staff will provide free Tdap and MCV4 vaccinations to incoming seventh-grade students at several locations throughout the County.
The upcoming clinics will be held at the following locations and dates:
Saturday, August 27th; 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Dennis Avenue Health Center
2000 Dennis Avenue, Silver Spring
Germantown Health Center
12900 Middlebrook Road, Germantown
Tuesday, September 13th; 4 -7 p.m.
Clemente Middle School
18808 Waring Station Road, Germantown
Benjamin Banneker Middle School
14800 Perrywood Drive, Burtonsville
Eastern Middle School
300 University Boulevard, East, Silver Spring
Wednesday, September 14; 4 – 7 p.m.
Gaithersburg Middle School

Argyle Middle School

In addition, there are four locations that will offer expanded hours for their regularly scheduled immunization clinics. For more information on that clinic schedule, visit here.
Eighth and ninth grade students entering a Maryland school for the first time should also receive the vaccinations in order to comply with the requirements. No appointment is necessary. A parent or designated adult must be present. Parents should bring a copy of the child’s immunization record to the clinic.
