1. The Josiah Henson Leadership Conference II takes place this morning at the studios of Montgomery Community Media.

2.  It’s the first of its kind. The Ellsworth Urban Dog Park opens today at 621 Ellsworth Drive in Silver Spring.

3. Montgomery County Department of Transportation (DOT) officials report that the Chapman Avenue Extension is now open for traffic in Bethesda.
