Secretary of State John Kerry Discusses Protecting the Oceans at Blair High School (VIDEO)

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry visited with students at Montgomery Blair High School on June 1st to discuss ocean protection and other environmental issues. MCPS-TV reports.

The group of students who met with Secretary Kerry included the Chesapeake Bay Regional Champions of the Ocean Science Bowl and the winners of the National Science Bowl. The Secretary was joined by Catherine Novelle, Under Secretary for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment and Dr. Marcia McNutt, a marine geophysicist, Editor-in-Chief of the Science family of journals, and president-elect of the National Academy of Sciences.
