Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind (CLB) will host it’s 4th Annual Shot in the Dark Golf Classic & Casino Night on Friday May 13. The event will take place at the Bretton Woods golf course in Germantown.

According to the CLB website, the organization was founded in 1900 and provides life changing skills and services to its clients in the Washington, D.C. metro area who are blind and visually impaired.

Anthony Candelosi is the president and CEO of CLB.

“We are honored to continue this classic event and for the community at large to recognize that people with disabilities have many skills and can learn new skills such as golf,” Candelosi said in a news release.

An 18-hole golf classic will take place in the afternoon with dinner and a night of gaming to scheduled for the evening.

Golfers who are blind and visually impaired will have the opportunity to participate in a golf clinic hosted by blind golfers, Phil Blackwell, Mark Arnold and Bruce Hooper. Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. and clinics will start at 1:00 p.m. Casino night and dinner will start at 5:30 p.m. Ticket prices to attend the event start at $175 for spectators and $350 for golfers.
