Former President Bill Clinton Campaigns for Hillary Clinton in Silver Spring (PHOTOS & VIDEO)
UPDATED Over 300 people attended a campaign rally for Hillary Clinton on Wednesday at Leisure World in Silver Spring. The event comes a day before early voting in Maryland and one day after Hillary Clinton’s campaign opened an office in Bethesda.
Several County leaders attended the event throwing their support behind the Clinton campaign including Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett, County Council President Nancy Floreen and Councilmember Sidney Katz. Executive Leggett introduced Clinton and said that his wife Hillary, was “qualified on steroids” to serve as the next President of the United States.
President Clinton touched on a range of issues including healthcare, equality, college affordability and immigration. You can watch his full remarks in the video below.
