- The fourth annual Bethesda Film Fest returns to Imagination Stage and features five short documentaries made by local filmmakers. Screenings tonight are at 7 and 9 p.m.
- The Metropolitan Ballet Theatre’s production of Becoming Sugar Plum is tonight at 7 p.m. at the Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center in Rockville.
- Waverly Street Gallery CityScapes art exhibit features photography by members of the North Bethesda Camera Club and is on display through April 2. Gallery hours today are noon to 6 p.m. Plan to attend the artist talk Saturday at 2 p.m.
- The regional premiere of Marjorie Prime by playwright Jordan Harrison runs through April 10. Tonight’s performance is at 7:45 p.m.
- Bethesda Blues & Jazz Supper Club presents a tribute to Mel Torme by jazz trombonist Eric Felten at 8 p.m.
Saturday, March 19
- Spring must be almost here since Bunnyland is back at Butler’s Orchard in Germantown with lots of activities for children. Opens at 9 a.m. and is weather dependent. Call 301.972.3299 or check Butler’s Orchard website if you have any questions about the weather.
- Youth looking for employment should attend the ‘Let’s Get it Started Youth Job Fair’ at the Silver Spring Civic Building from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Kensington Arts Theatre-2nd Stage present Fiddler on the Roof Junior at Gaithersburg Arts Barn at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. for children (and their families) 14 and under.
- The Metropolitan Ballet Theatre’s production of Becoming Sugar Plum has performances today at noon and 4 p.m. at the Robert E. Parilla Performing Arts Center in Rockville. Plan to stay for a ‘cast chat’ following the noon performance.

- Gaithersburg’s sfz salon series continues with chamber music at Kentlands Mansion at 7:30 p.m.
- Olney Theatre presents Marjorie Prime at 7:45 p.m.

- Smooth jazz band The Avon Lucas Project performs at 8 p.m. at the Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club.

- The Mermaid Theatre presents Goodnight Moon and Runaway Bunny at The BlackRock Center for the Arts at 10 a.m. and again at 3 p.m.in Germantown.
