The Montgomery County Commission for Women and Montgomery County Public Libraries presents: “America’s First Ladies: A Walk Through History.” The presentation outlines the lives of several First Ladies by century and influence, sharing the common thread that each of these women was unusual for her time.

The presentation is considered both educational and entertaining and will reveal untold stories that helped shape America. The formal presentation will be followed by an interactive discussion regarding any of the First Ladies.

“America’s First Ladies: A Walk Through History” features Andrew Och, an award-winning television and multimedia producer who traversed America for over a year documenting the lives of every First Lady of the United States. The stories were first presented in the acclaimed C-SPAN series, “First Ladies: Influence and Image.”

The free program will be presented on Saturday, March 12 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Gaithersburg Library, 18330 Montgomery Village Avenue.
