Board of Elections Needs Student Volunteers for Future Vote Program

The Montgomery County Board of Elections seeks students school-aged students from grades 6-12 to participate in the Future Vote Program.

Future Vote students will serve as Election Day aides during the 2016 Presidential Primary Election on Tuesday, April 26. There is also an opportunity to participate in many other activities with the Board of Elections before Election Day. Montgomery County Board of Elections for slider 855 x 380 v1

Students and parents must attend madatory training to participate in the Future Vote Program and if applicable, students will receive Student Service Learning (SSL) credits for their participation.

The Future Vote Program is open to all Montgomery County public, private, independent, religious or home-schooled students. U.S. citizenship is not a prerequisite and students with bilingual or American Sign Language skills are encouraged to apply.

Interested parents or guardians may register their child before February 29 online by visiting the Montgomery County Board of Elections’ website or by e-mailing future.vote@montgomerycountymd.gov.
