White Flint Transportation Open House Set for Oct. 19th

Meet Al Roshdieh at the White Flint Transportation Open House on Oct. 19.

UPDATED Montgomery County is hosting an open house on Monday, October 19th so community residents can learn more about the White Flint Transportation Management Study. The event will be held from 7 -9 p.m.in the Walter Johnson High School cafeteria, 6400 Rock Spring Drive in Bethesda.

Department of Transportation (MCDOT) Acting Director Al Roshdieh is planning to welcome attendees and he will update attendees about the ongoing White Flint Transportation Demand Management Study.

During the open house, staff will be available at tables around the room to answer one-on-one questions about various White Flint infrastructure projects, including the parking garage under design for the Conference Center, separated bike lanes in design for Nebel Street, etc.

Staff from MCDOT’s Commuter Services are expected to provide information about its programs and sign participants up for SmarTrip cards, Senior SmarTrip cards, the pay-by-phone parking app and more.
