Tires Slashed in East Deer Park Community

Gaithersburg PoliceGaithersburg police officers are investigating vandalism of numerous vehicles in the East Deer Park community of Gaithersburg that occurred over the weekend.

According to police, tires were slashed to multiple vehicles along Woodland Road, Tulip Drive and Oakton Road.

Officer Dan Lane said the first report came in shortly before 3 a.m. on Sunday in the 400 block of Woodland Road.

“While in the area, officers observed additional vehicles that had been vandalized as well,” Lane said.

A resident told MyMCMedia that over a dozen vehicles may have been vandalized.

Lane said he has not seen the police report yet so he could not officially confirm the number of vehicles impacted.

The investigation is continuing.
