Firefighters Encourage Residents to Fill the Boot (VIDEO)
The annual “MDA Fill-the-Boot” campaign is back.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services officials encourage everyone to participate in this campaign to help raise funds to find treatment and research for neuromuscular diseases.
For more than 30 years, Montgomery County fire personnel has partnered with the Muscular Dystrophy Association and raised more than $2 million. In this MyMCMedia Extra, Pete Piringer, MCFRS spokesperson, talks about the importance to support Fill-the-Boot in a county where 500 children and adults are affected with neuromuscular diseases.
