Five MoCo Schools Make Newsweek’s Top Public High Schools List (VIDEO)

A new school year is about to begin in less than two weeks but not without Newsweek‘s annual list of the top public high schools in America for 2015.

Five Montgomery County public schools made the list. Among them are:

• No. 110 Poolesville High School in Poolesville;
• No. 187 Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda;
• No. 254 Thomas S. Wootton High School in Rockville;
• No. 268 Winston Churchill High School in Potomac;
• No. 395 Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda.

In this MyMCMedia Extra video, Montgomery County Public Schools spokesperson Dana Tofig said, “this is just an example that our schools overall are doing a good job getting kids ready for college.”
