U.S. Presidential Scholar Is Honored During A County Council Session (VIDEO)

Montgomery County Councilmember Craig Rice honors Emily Yang, a student at Richard Montgomery High School, with a proclamation on June 8 for her achievement as U.S. Presidential Scholar during a county council meeting.

Patrick Cha, a student at Bethesda ‐Chevy Chase High School was also named a scholar. Yang and Cha are among the 141 students named as 2015 presidential scholars.
