Gaithersburg Constructing Multi-Purpose Path at Rio

The City of Gaithersburg Department of Public Works will be constructing a multi-use path along the north side of Rio Boulevard from Washingtonian Boulevard to Fields Road.

The work will consist of the construction of the path and the milling, resurfacing and re-striping of Rio Boulevard. The construction is scheduled to begin on or about the week of April 27, weather permitting, and will continue for approximately six to eight weeks, according to a news release from the city.
