St. Elizabeth Catholic School Makes Guinness World Record Attempt

At St. Elizabeth Catholic School in Rockville there were hats on heads.. one, two, three.  And a Guinness World Record to break….said Principal Vincent Spadoni. image

The school had parents, staff and students, brother and sisters and relatives too, each wearing Dr. Seuss hats for a world record attempt- it’s true.

The event was to fall on Dr. Seuss’ birthday but the ice and the snow kept everyone away. So on a bright sunny morning at just half past eight, the students lined up, thinking isn’t this great.

All were counted using wristbands and watchers, the total number 1,200- pays tribute to the renown rhyming author.
