Preventing Child Abuse (PHOTO & VIDEO)

The Montgomery County Council on April 14 recognized Child Abuse Prevention Month by honoring the work of the Tree House, which works helps provide an array of services to children and families who are impacted by abuse.

At the ceremonies in Rockville, Tree House Director Tom Grazio talked about the organization’s May 2 Tour de Cookie bike riding fundraiser in which riders will stop at cookie stations along the way. Also at the ceremonies, left to right: Councilmembers Marc Elrich and Sidney Katz, “Mr. Cookie” Pat Sieg, Wendy Grier, Nina Blecher and Lisa Sieg.
