Maryland Biologists Discover Rare Litter of Five Black Bear Cubs in Den (VIDEO)

It’s a record in Maryland! This week, biologists with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) documented a five cub litter in a den in western Maryland. The average litter is three cubs a sow. See the baby bears as biologist Harry Spiker reports from the scene in this You Tube video posted online and below:
