More than fifty percent of the county’s operating budget goes to funding the school system. County Councilmember Craig Rice chairs the Council’s Education Committee, and he has been holding a series of budget forums along with leaders from Mongomery County Public Schools and Montgomery College. Our crew caught us with them at Kingsview Middle School in Germantown.
