NWS Issues Wind Advisory for Montgomery County
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Montgomery County from noon today, Feb. 2, until midnight.
According to the advisory, the strongest winds are expected to arrive mid afternoon until early evening.
Winds are predicted to blow from the northwest between 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Scattered tree and power line damage may result from high winds.
Residents are advised to secure outdoor furniture and take care driving high profile vehicles.
A wind advisory means that wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph are expected.
