Starr to Release Operating Schools’ Budget Request Today

Montgomery County Public Schools Superintendent Joshua P. Starr is expected to present his Fiscal Year (FY) 2016 Operating Budget recommendation to the Board of Education today at about noon.

Starr will hold a media briefing after the presentation at 1:30 p.m. to discuss his recommendation and answer questions.

The meeting is at the Carver Educational Services Center, 850 Hungerford Drive in Rockville and it begins at 10:30 a.m., with public agenda items beginning at 10:45 a.m. The public portion of the meeting will be broadcast live on the MCPS website and on MCPS TV (Comcast Channel 34).
