Gaithersburg’s Arts Barn Touch

In partnership with Montgomery Playhouse, Arts on the Green presents Touch, a moving drama by Toni Press-Coffman that explores the miracle and fragility of human connection. The show runs November 7 through 23, with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. at the Arts Barn, 311 Kent Square Road. Admission is $20.  This show contains mature themes and language and is appropriate for those 17 and older.  For tickets and information call 301.258.6394 or visit the Gaithersburg website.

Kyle is a quiet, introverted young astronomer when he meets the vibrant, outgoing and openhearted Zoe. They fall in love and marry and then the unthinkable happens, turning Kyle’s enviable happiness upside down. Tracing his journey through terrifying unanswered questions and memories of deep love, Touch is about a man in despair questioning whether there is any point to rediscovering passion, risking connection, and groping toward the touch that will rekindle joy.

Arts on the Green is the City of Gaithersburg’s premier center for the performing and visual arts.  Join us before the show and enjoy wine by the glass, Flying Dog beer, and non-alcoholic beverages in a bistro setting. The Pub is open one hour before the show and during intermission.
