County Council Forum Set for Oct. 13 at MCM’s Studios

Save the date! Montgomery Community Media and the League of Women Voters are scheduled to host a candidates forum for the County Council race at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 13.

The race includes the following seats:

• Four At-Large seats. Candidates include: Democratic Incumbents- Marc Elrich, Nancy Floreen, George Leventhal, Hans Riemer. Republican Challengers- Robert Dyer, Chris Fiotes, Jr. Adol T. Owen-Williams, II, Shelly Skolnick. Green Party Challenger- Tim Willard

The forum will be moderated by Don Mooers, the host of Montgomery Week in Review. The event will include a 1 1/2 hour forum followed by closing statements from each candidate.

The forum will be streamed live on the MyMCMedia.org website and then broadcast on Access 19 and Montgomery Channel 21 later in the week.

The general election is set for Nov. 4.
