Driver Trapped When Car Slams into Building in Rockville
UPDATED, Aug, 20, 6 p.m.- Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Spokesman Pete Piringer released new photos of a car that slammed into the MetLife office building Wednesday afternoon.

UPDATED, Aug. 20, 5:15 p.m.- The driver has been extricated from a car that slammed into the MetLife office building on Research Boulevard Wednesday afternoon.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Spokesman Pete Piringer said in a tweet that the driver does not appear to have life-threatening injuries.

A driver is trapped in a vehicle after the car slammed into a building in Rockville Wednesday afternoon.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue are working on getting the driver out of the car at about 4:45 p.m., according to a tweet from Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Spokesman Pete Piringer. The car crashed into a building in the 2400 block of Research Boulevard. That building is being evacuated, according to Piringer.
