Elderly Woman Found Disoriented in Germantown Safeway Reunited with Family

UPDATED, Aug. 13 at 10:15 p.m.- The elderly woman found confused and disoriented in a Safeway store in Germantown has been identified and is being reunited with family, according to Montgomery County Police.

ORIGINAL POST- Montgomery County Police are asking the public’s help in identifying a woman found confused and disoriented on Aug. 12 in a Safeway.

Montgomery County Police officers responded to the Safeway Store  in the 19700 block of Germantown Road in Germantown around 8 p.m. Aug. 12 for a disoriented woman. An employee of the store noticed that the woman appeared confused and in need of assistance. The woman was unable to communicate with the officers and was transported to a local hospital for a check-up.Unidentified-Female1

The woman is described as African American, 4’8”, 95 pounds, and possibly in her late 80’s to early 90’s.
