Glass Concedes District 5 Race

Silver Spring activist Evan Glass conceded the Montgomery County Council District 5 seat to Del. Tom Hucker Wednesday night in his Facebook post.

The two were just 217 votes apart after the Primary Election count, according to the Montgomery County Board of Elections. During the first round of absentee vote canvass, Hucker picked up 219 votes and Glass earned 200 of the 570 total votes cast. A second round count was expected to be completed on July 3.
