Woman Injured by Lightning Strike

A woman walking her dog on Blunt Road and Brink Road tonight (May 27) around 7 p.m. was struck down by a nearby lightning strike.

Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer said the woman was transported to the hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.

No other information about this incident has been released to date.
