MC Professor Receives Cyber Award (Video)
Dr. Chiyun-Kwei Chiang, professor of Networking and Cybersecurity recently received the prestigious Education Cyber Award from Symantec Government Symposium. Dr. Chiang teaches cybersecurity at Montgomery College’s Germantown campus. MCTV’s Danielle Stescki has the story.

Dr. Chiyun-Kwei Chiang, professor of Networking and Cybersecurity and faculty sponsor of the Montgomery CyberWatch Club and Competition Team, has been selected to receive the Education Cyber Award at the 2013 Symantec Government Symposium on October 2nd. Nominated by his students this award recognizes his exhibition of strong leadership, his innovative approach, going “above and beyond” his daily responsibilities, and for making a difference in government cyber security. The award will be presented at the 2013 Symantec Government Symposium on October 2nd at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC.
