Washington Spirit Contest Announced

The Washington Spirit announces their Adopt A Team contest for all girls youth soccer teams 18 and under within the MD/DC/VA area. A minimum of 40 teams will be selected on March 15.

Adopt-A-Team is a community contest that provides girls youth soccer teams with the opportunity to have a Washington Spirit professional player coach their team. The Spirit will draw winners and pair two teams with a Spirit player to coach one practice or one game in the spring or summer. The location must be mutually agreed upon and within 30 miles of the Maryland SoccerPlex.

Who can enter? Members and supporters of youth soccer teams may submit an entry. Youth players can enter as well, but must include a parent’s authorization on the online entry form. Only one entry per person, per team will qualify. The more unique entries you receive with your team name on it, the more entries that your team will have in the lottery and the better your chances!

How do you enter? All entries must be submitted online by March 13 in order to qualify. Visit the Washington Spirit website and complete the brief form to enter.
