Gregory Wahl, a Montgomery College English professor, on Jan. 28 talked about some of the ways he works to help students as the Montgomery County Council recognized him after he was named 2013 “Maryland Professor of the Year” by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.

Once again, a professor from Montgomery College has been named Maryland Professor of the Year. This year, the award goes to English professor Greg Wahl from the College’s Takoma Park-Silver Spring campus. Danielle Stescki reports.
