Maryland Flag Ordered to Half Staff (Photo)
Governor Martin O’Malley has ordered the Maryland State Flag to be flown at half-staff immediately.
This is in honor of Firefighter David R. Barr Jr., a 13 year veteran of the Perryville Community Fire Company, who died on November 7, as a result of injuries suffered in the line of duty. The flag shall continue to be flown at half-staff until sunset on Saturday, November 16.
