Hometown Hero: Katie Ledecky (Video)

Bethesda resident and Olympic champion Katie Ledecky continues to bring home the gold. Ledecky set a new world record this summer in the 800 meter freestyle and brought home four gold medals – one for each of the events she competed in at the world swimming championships in Barcelona. Since returning home, she’s been spending as much time as possible at her hometown pool. Next week, she begins her junior year at the Stone Ridge School.

CCM’s Susan Kenedy recently interviewed Ledecky about life in and out of the pool. Take a look:
