Wheaton Man Gets 20 Years for Human Trafficking
A 23-year-old Wheaton man received 20 years for human trafficking charges in Montgomery County Circuit Court on Thursday, the county State’s Attorney’s Office said in a statement.
A jury convicted Marcus Jamal Lindsey on Dec. 7.
Judge Nelson Rupp sentenced Lindsey to 20 years for two human trafficking charges, both felonies, and 10 years each for misdemeanors, which were to run concurrent to the felony sentence, the statement reads.
