2019 Martin Luther King Jr. Day Tribute, Women of the Dream

The 2019 Martin Luther King Jr. Day Tribute, which was held at The Music Center at Strathmore, highlighted Women of the Dream.

Student Member of the Montgomery County School Board, Ananya Tadikonda was a guest speaker during the event. Tadikonda spoke on why Martin Luther King Jr. Day is important, and what students should reflect on at this time. Tadikonda also commented about why it is important for students to give back on MLK Day.

Several elected officials including Montgomery Council Member Will Jawando also attended the 2019 Martin Luther King Jr. Day Tribute as well.
